The engineering phase was drastically shortened, focusing primarily on site adaptation and foundation design rather than creating a unique structure from scratch. In Kaifort’s automated factory, the production of hundreds of steel components became a streamlined, repetitive process controlled by computer numerical control (CNC) machinery, guaranteeing exceptional consistency and quality. The membrane fabric was precision-cut using digital patterns, maximizing material yield. The absence of major welding equipment, piles of raw steel, or significant construction waste highlighted the cleanliness of the “dry” assembly method. Work was coordinated in phases, allowing sections of the parking lot to remain operational throughout the build. Assured Quality and Predictable Performance

Utilizing a standardized product inherently ensures a consistent quality standard. Every component, from the hot-dip galvanized steel with its fluoropolymer finish to the specific grade of PVDF-coated polyester membrane, is sourced from certified suppliers and subject to Kaifort’s rigorous factory acceptance protocols. The structural performance of each module, including its resistance to wind, snow, and seismic loads, is pre-certified by engineering analysis, removing uncertainty for the client.

The performance benefits are immediately apparent. The white membrane provides excellent solar reflectance, creating a noticeably cooler microclimate beneath. The design’s inherent drainage efficiency was demonstrated during construction, as seen in the third image where recent rain left the ground damp but the newly covered areas protected.
