Efficient Design: Kaifort Completes Double-Row Parking Canopy

Kaifort Membrane Structure recently completed a membrane structure carport​ project in a parking lot. This innovative tensile membrane car parking shed​ features a central-column, double-cantilever design that effectively enhances space utilization in the parking area.

Project Background

The parking lot required additional vehicle shelter with consideration for space efficiency. Kaifort proposed the double-sided design supported by a single central column, which was approved by the client. The site is an open area in front of buildings, requiring a structure that blends with the surroundings.

Project Implementation

The design team created an arched membrane structure car parking shed​ with a clean, white canopy. The structure uses Q235 steel framework and PVDF membrane fabric for durability. During construction, the team installed the central column with precision and tensioned the membrane symmetrically on both sides to ensure structural balance.

Outcome

Since installation, the carport accommodates vehicles on both sides, making efficient use of space. Cars are well-protected from sun and rain under the canopy. This practically designed tensile membrane carport​ has become a valued addition to the parking facility.
